I am located in a small town in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of BC, Canada!
I have been wood burning for 5 years now. I first got into it when I wanted to try leather tooling, but thought burning could be done on a more variety of materials than tooling could be. So I gave burning a try and fell in love.
I now do burning on wood, paper and leather as well as custom work!
I took art all through-out high school, and continued it afterwards, receiving my diploma in web and graphics design.
Ever wondered how I came up with my name, North Star pyrography?
I've been doing art most my life, and ever since I was in high school, I added a "North Star" mark to my work - I still do it!
The North Star is constant in the sky - and it's the one thing in my work that is also constant.
It just felt right to have it included in my name! And the pyrography part - well, because it's what I create!
I am a stay-at-home mum of two little girls, they get the majority of my time as well as my wonderful hubby. When I'm not spending time with them, or friends, I am probably burning!

CUSTOM ORDER PRICING:
Custom pieces are given an estimate based on three factors: type of wood used, size of wood used and prep and burning time. For example, more detailed images such as pet portraits etc. take longer and there-for will be estimated higher and also cribbage boards are also a bit higher because of prep time such as drilling holes and so on.
